The ERS 4500 products provide both the scalability and resilience by enabling customers to add switches or replace switches in a stack while maintaining stack integrity even in the unlikely event of switch or cable failure occurs.
- Advances security capabilities enable the ERS4500 switches to provide multi-layered network defence. Security applications such as DHCPsnooping, ARP Inspection and BPDU filtering enable the switches to protect the network against malicious network attacks. Advanced security capabilities enable end user device health assessment, quarantine and remediation through the use of Nortel Secure Network Access.
